Belinda Wozencroft
Dr Belinda Wozencroft Practice Principal

Dr Belinda Wozencroft is a General Practitioner with special interests in women’s health, sexual health, HIV medicine, and is an active PrEP prescriber. Originally, Belinda trained as a Registered Nurse and worked in remote Aboriginal communities before studying Medicine at UWA. Belinda has completed further post-graduate studies, which include Diploma of Obstetrics, Graduate Certificate in Women’s Health, and Diploma of Child Health. Belinda is registered as an s100 prescriber for antiretroviral medications for people living with HIV. She is the Principal at View Street Medical in North Perth.

Belinda is active in the local and national medical communities including as a board member for ASHM (Australian Society for HIV Medicine), NHSTAC member (National HIV Standards, Training and Accreditation Committee), and is a clinical council member at the North Metropolitan Primary Health Network.

Fergus McCabe 2
Dr Fergus McCabe

Originally from Ireland, Fergus was the first male to study Speech Pathology in Ireland. Fergus came to WA to work at RPH in 1990 before entering medical school in 1997 at Flinders University in Adelaide.

Following his internship, he moved back to WA where he worked at Fremantle Hospital and entered the Physicians training program, discovering a specific interest in infectious diseases, before moving back to Dublin Ireland for nine years to work in the HIV / Addiction Service.

He returned to Australia to commence his General Practice Training in 2013, completing his FRACGP in 2014.

He is the medical Governor of WAAC’s M clinic and has worked as an S100 GP specialising in HIV & Sexual Health at GP on Beaufort for the last 10 years and is now in transition to become a partner with Dr Belinda Wozencroft at View St Medical.

Fergus and his life partner of 40 years have yet to decide if it’s a permanent thing and has two rugby loving sons and two ‘chewing’ loving Irish Red and White Setters. He enjoys current affairs, history, rugby and spending time with his family.

Ashleigh Clark
Dr Ashleigh Clark

Ashleigh grew up in Perth and studied a Bachelor of Science at UWA before moving east to study medicine at the University of Notre Dame, Sydney.

Since completing her studies in 2015, she has worked in various hospitals in Sydney before returning to WA where she has undergone her training in Kalgoorlie and metropolitan general practices.

During this time, she also completed the Sydney Child Health Program (University of Sydney).

Ashleigh has a special interest in preventative health and geriatric medicine, however, she enjoys all aspects of general practice.

Anna Chaney
Dr Anna Chaney

FRACGP DCH DRANZCOG BSc

Dr Anna Chaney has in interest in women’s health, sexual health, contraceptive provision and children’s health. She has worked with Perth’s homeless population since 2012 and continues to also work at Homeless Healthcare. She has a diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and a Diploma in Child Health. She has worked rurally in Victoria, NSW and more locally in Albany. While undergoing GP training she worked at Princess Margaret Hospital in Paediatrics and at Box Hill hospital in Paediatrics and Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Anna Co-chairs the Metropolitan Syphilis Outbreak response team. Anna is passionate about equitable access to healthcare and approaches general practice with a compassionate, holistic and collaborative attitude.

Experience in: Mirena insertion and removal, implanon insertion, cervical screening and mental health

Anna studied Medicine at the University of Notre Dame Fremantle and graduated in 2017. Following this, Anna gained experience in rural areas – including Albany, Karratha and Kalgoorlie – as well in the city at Royal Perth Hospital, Perth Children’s Hospital and King Edward Memorial Hospital. During this time, Anna also completed the Sydney Child Health Program and Certificate of Women’s Health.

Anna has a special interest in children’s health, women’s health including Implanon insertion/removal, preconception and early antenatal care and preventative medicine. Anna enjoys working collaboratively with patients and supporting people to make informed decisions about their health. When she is not at work, you will find Anna spending time outdoors with her family.

Dr Lucy Fitton

Lucy graduated from UWA in 2004 and has worked in various hospitals over a number of years, including SCGH, Fremantle Hospital and KEMH.

In 2013 she commented General Practice training and completed this in 2015.

Lucy believes in providing inclusive and non-judgemental care to all of her patients and takes a holistic approach to mental and physical health. She practices in accordance with HAES (Health at Every Size) principles.

Rachel Forth
Dr Rachel Forth

Dr Rachel Forth is a dedicated and highly motivated clinician who is passionate about practicing holistic care whilst keeping up to date with medical advances. She enjoys sharing medical knowledge, has a relaxed communication style and sees shared decision making as essential to a good doctor-patient relationship.

Graduating from a UK medical school in 2009, Rachel worked as a GP in both the public and private sector alongside working medically in media. Rachel enjoys all aspects of clinical medicine and over the past few years, has especially relished the opportunity for further training in medical weight management.

 

Teena Leonard 2

Teena grew up mainly in Perth, graduating from the University of Western Australia in 1985. Teena has been practising in North Perth for 22 years and enjoys all areas of general practice and regularly attends to several local aged care facilities. Outside of work Teena enjoys time spent at home with her family, catching up with friends and trying to stay fit.

Dr Zaneta Liem

Dr Zaneta Liem is a compassionate General Practitioner who, after graduating from the University of Sydney, spent 7 years delivering high-quality, patient centred care in rural and regional Australia before arriving at View Street Medical. 

Her expertise in obstetrics includes antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care. Other areas of interest include women’s health, including IUD insertions, preventative care and chronic disease management. Her commitment to her patients is mirrored in her plan to expand her scope of practice to involve dermatological conditions in 2024.

Dr Zaneta has a holistic approach to medicine, which involves considering all aspects of her patient’s health and wellness to provide care that is tailored to their individual needs. She believes in empowering patients, and allowing them to make informed decisions about their health that is compatible with their beliefs.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Dr Zaneta enjoys spending time with her fiancé and their two beloved dogs. She is an avid reader, a traveler and has a passion for ballet. Most recently she has become a novice crocheter.

Dr Samantha Maisey has been in general practice for 11 years. She studied at UWA and lives in the local community. A mother of 3, Sam has a strong interest in women’s and children’s health as well as sexual health and minor surgeries. Sam has worked in a variety of settings including immigration health, emergency medicine, and in rural WA. In her spare time Sam enjoys taking her dog to the park, reading and listening to podcasts.
Other areas of interest are a holistic approach to mental health and chronic disease management.

“Shyamini is a GP registrar who graduated medicine from the University of Western Australia in 2017. Originally from Victoria where she completed a Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne, she has decided that West really is best and to pursue her GP training here.

She has enjoyed a broad hospital experience in Perth, the Kimberley, Launceston and Darwin before deciding to settle into primary care.

Shyamini has a special interest and has undertaken additional training in sexual and reproductive health and holds a diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She is currently studying a Masters of Public Health and Tropical Medicine and hopes to apply these skills into her daily practice, fostering passion for health promotion and health literacy. In addition, she currently works a Registrar Liaison Officer for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP), to advocate for and promote quality training for GP registrars.

When not at work, she enjoys singing and being outdoors. She also loves a self-care day, being in the company of her friends, sleeping in a swag under the stars and a good cinny scroll.”

Ivana is a GP registrar who graduated medicine from the University of Western Australia. She has worked in many secondary and tertiary hospitals across Perth before commencing general practice.

Ivana focuses on evidence based management, in particular preventative health and lifestyle management in combination with medical management as required.

She spends her downtime on her passion for performing arts, reading, and crafting.

 

Andrew Rushton

Andrew is an enthusiastic, passionate and motivated General Practitioner who prides himself on delivering high standards of care and health education. He delivers his practice with care, compassion and professionalism.

Andrew had a varied career path in his earlier years but at the age of 24 followed his passion and lifelong ambition to study medicine. Andrew studied medicine in England and graduated from The University of Manchester in 2009.

Andrew has undergone further training in HIV management and is an s100 prescriber for HIV antiretroviral therapy, sexual health, minor surgery and mental health.

Craig Shaw
Dr Craig Shaw

Craig studied medicine at Aberdeen University in Scotland, graduating in 1998. He has worked in various roles including ENT, psychiatry, emergency medicine, general surgery, orthopaedics and sports injuries, with lots of experience in Paediatrics. Since moving to Perth, Craig has undertaken additional training in sexual health and HIV medicine and is a qualified s100 prescriber of HIV medications. He has also gained further qualifications in skin cancer medicine, skin checks and minor surgery.

Jo completed her medical studies at the University of Notre Dame in 2017. She has further developed her knowledge and experience working across several local hospitals including Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Joondalup Health Campus, King Edward Memorial Hospital for Women and Perth Children’s hospital.

Jo enjoys practicing all aspects of medicine and believes in the value of holistic patient centred care. This involves taking into account both your physical and mental health to ensure you achieve the best possible health outcomes.

Jo also has passion for medical education, dividing her working week with clinical skills teaching at the University of Western Australia.

Dr Whyte graduated in medicine in 2015 and has experience in the hospital sector and general practice.

Sarah is a specialist in general practice, having attained Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. 

Sarah is passionate about improving people’s experience of healthcare and, in particular, enjoys working with youth, adolescents and young adults.

Kaitlin grew up in the south-west and completed her medical training at the University of Western Australia in 2014. After graduation she worked in multiple tertiary hospitals, gaining experience across a variety of specialties, including paediatrics and women’s health. Kaitlin completed both a diploma of Tropical Medicine in the UK, and a diploma of Child Health prior to completing her general practice training. She has a passion for holistic medicine and has an interest in all aspects of general practice, particularly paediatrics, women’s health, mental health and chronic disease.

Matilda graduated from the University of Notre Dame Fremantle in 2015.

Prior to starting General Practice training, Matilda worked for several years in emergency medicine and completed a Masters of Public Health. Her main areas of interest include sexual health, reproductive health (including unplanned pregnancy management), LGBTQIA+ health and sexual assault medicine.

She is trained in the insertion and removal of both Implanon contraceptive devices and Intrauterine Devices (IUDs), and is a prescriber of PrEP

She is currently studying for her Masters in Clinical Forensic Medicine.
